I recently had to go in for some minor surgery. I was given a date for the operation and told to call a number not to talk to the pre-surgical nurse, but to schedule a TIME to talk to the pre-surgical nurse!
I tried multiple times of day and multiple days, and each time, after being on hold for 9 minutes and counting with no indication of where I was in the queue, I FINALLY got through. Then the nurse ended up calling 20 minutes past this arduously scheduled time. So I wasted about 35 minutes of my life just to schedule a conversation. Do I get to bill the hospital for my lost income?
At least Cox Communications tells you how long the wait is going to be on hold.
