Proposition 8 and the Bible: A match made in Hell?

Many others, no doubt, have already posted on this topic, and have spoken more eloquently than I will. But I want to say specifically to those African-Americans who voted for Prop. 8 because gay marriage is “against the Bible”: 1. shame on you and 2. you should stop and think about what your history in America teaches you about the Bible as a good justification for decisions, and think for yourself about interpreting the Bible.
